Senior Team Lead – Children’s Residential Care
Pay: £15.25 per hour
YourCare (North West) is a family-run organisation committed to providing safe, stable, and nurturing homes for children with complex needs. We’re looking for a confident and experienced Senior Team Lead to support day-to-day practice, lead shifts, and maintain high standards of care across the home.
The Role
- Act as the senior on shift, providing clear leadership and direction
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people
- Support and mentor staff, modelling best practice at all times
- Ensure care plans, risk assessments, and routines are followed consistently
- Manage challenging behaviour using calm, positive strategies
- Oversee handovers, daily records, and incident reporting
- Escalate concerns appropriately and support managers with oversight
About You
- Significant experience in residential childcare
- Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Confident, calm, and consistent leadership style
- Strong safeguarding knowledge and decision-making skills
- IT confident for record keeping
- Driving licence desirable
