Residential Manager – Children’s Home
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 per annum
YourCare (North West) is a family-run organisation providing safe, nurturing homes for children with complex needs. We are seeking an experienced and values-led Residential Manager to lead one of our children’s homes, ensuring outstanding care, strong staff leadership, and full regulatory compliance.
The Role

Provide overall leadership and management of the home

Safeguard and promote the welfare of all children and young people

Ensure high-quality, child-centred care in line with regulations and best practice

Lead, develop, and supervise the staff team, including seniors and team leads
-
Oversee care planning, risk management, and outcomes for children
-
Maintain compliance with Ofsted and regulatory frameworks
-
Manage staffing, rotas, budgets, and day-to-day operations
-
Act as the main point of contact for professionals, families, and inspectors
About You
-
Significant experience managing or deputising in a children’s residential setting

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)

Strong safeguarding knowledge and regulatory understanding

Confident, consistent, and child-focused leadership style

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Full UK driving licence
