Residential Manager – Children’s Home

Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 per annum

YourCare (North West) is a family-run organisation providing safe, nurturing homes for children with complex needs. We are seeking an experienced and values-led Residential Manager to lead one of our children’s homes, ensuring outstanding care, strong staff leadership, and full regulatory compliance.

The Role
  • Provide overall leadership and management of the home
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of all children and young people
  • Ensure high-quality, child-centred care in line with regulations and best practice
  • Lead, develop, and supervise the staff team, including seniors and team leads
  • Oversee care planning, risk management, and outcomes for children
  • Maintain compliance with Ofsted and regulatory frameworks
  • Manage staffing, rotas, budgets, and day-to-day operations
  • Act as the main point of contact for professionals, families, and inspectors

About You
  • Significant experience managing or deputising in a children’s residential setting
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge and regulatory understanding
  • Confident, consistent, and child-focused leadership style
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Full UK driving licence
