Through consistent care and guidance, we help young people build trust and develop confidence in themselves and those around them.

ATTENTIVENESS

We believe that every young person deserves to be heard and understood. Our staff take time to listen carefully, observe behaviour and respond thoughtfully to the needs and experiences of each child. By being attentive, we are able to recognise what young people are communicating and provide the support they need to feel valued and understood.

Respect is at the heart of everything we do. We treat every young person with dignity, fairness and compassion, recognising their individuality, background and experiences. We promote young people’s rights, encourage their voice to be heard and support them to develop positive relationships based on mutual respect.

The staff were always present and readily available to discuss anything with. They have a genuine wish to care for the looked after children and strive to make the children's experiences as looked after children the best possible.

The manager Ben works tirelessly to achieve the best possible outcomes for young people. Ben was realistic and worked with the children to support care plans that are realistic to their needs and wants, listening to their wishes and feelings to implement these into care plans while still mitigating any safeguarding risks and concerns.

Ben was available to speak to at any time and always kept the lines of communication open, he remains child focused in all aspects of his care he has a genuine want to ensure all the children in his care achieve the best possible outcomes that they can. Ben is open and honest in his communications and is able to express his thoughts in a professional manner.
